It was a forest and the time was twilight but not the usual where the sun was waving good bye. No, it was the sun rising up to give the land some light to grow in. In the forest would be about ten dungeons each of them very short and only have one room. It can be barely called a dungeon but yet it is still a dungeon either way. The mission was to defeat the boss but there were no monsters to fight at all. Only statues in the middle of the dungeon but there were statues of two dragons with nothing else at all.
A pair of three rings appeared and one of them revealed Syaoran in his usual character's costumes. His swords on his back and the strings on it touched his shoulders once again. Putting his arms under his sleeves he waited for his partner to come. It shouldn't take that long so she should know where he is right now. It couldn't bet hat hard right? He closed his eyes to try to think of a couple of things right now though.
Last time he went here he remembered that there were strange things. Should he really have invited her here. Not so sure he simply went into the nearest dungeon trying to get his mind off of the idea. If anything happens she would most likely log off or force shutdown so there wasn't anything to worry about at all.
Coming up to the dragon a voice can be heard. No mouths moved though and it sounded hollow.
Those who enter will be tested not by strength but by knowledge. Now in a world where 3=E and 4=H was is 663?
He stood there not really understanding it but then again he was still young and in middle school so no one can actually blame him. Blackrose though was hard to tell because she on the other hand acts like a little kid but once again it might just be an act.

The glowing rings appeared, revealing the edge punisher. BlackRose looked around, examining the area. It seemed to be a forest kind of area, but this was her first time here so she really didn't know much about the place. She walked around for a little bit, looking for her fellow party member. Why was he so hard to find? Especially since she knew where he was. She walked around, finally finding him. She ran over to him.
"Syaoran-san! You are too hard to find. It took me like two whole minutes! Couldn't you have just waited at the chaos gate?"
She was running up to him, but then tripped, only to fall on the dragon statue, how clumsy was that, tripping in a game. She was already a klutz in real life, but now in the game too? Was she balance robbed or something? She never saw how people like ballerinas and gymnasts could balance that well.
Then she heard the voice of the dragon too. It was loud and scary. She didn't like it. But even so, she was able to figure out the puzzle with ease. 3 turned upside down is E and 4 turned upside down is H. So, using that, the answer would be egg. She made that dinging noise again, signaling that she knew what the answer was.
"Umm... if 3 is E and 4 is H then the answer is egg, correct? All you have to do is turn 663 upside down. Simple isn't it?" She made that puzzle sound like coloring in kindergarten. Of course though, in school, she was among one of the smarter people, and her brain comprehended with numbers well for some reason.

For a moment the boy tried to think for a moment. Wait so if it's upside down then it would be GGE. But then you wold have to read it backwards and then it would truly spell egg. Wow this game sure was strange on it's riddles since he expected that it had to do something with a game. Apparently though it didn't so it was hard for him to do this because he doesn't like to think about reality much online.
A chime can be heard as a treasure box appeared. He can see it but he didn't open it knowing that it would be more fair if she opened it. Soon though he noticed that he had gain 10 exp and 20 gp. Wow that was pretty easy stats gained even though it was easy to get. Still it shows that if they gain 10 exp for each riddle and there are 10 dungeons they will at least level up twice here if they answer all of it correctly. Well then that was good.
With a small smile on his face he looked at her and waited for her to open it. He moved his head to the treasure while looking at her indicating that he wanted her to open it. " To think you said that you weren't going to be much help. " he said smiling.

BlackRose smiled, knowing that she solved it. She liked to be useful, not just mooching off of a party member. Besides, math was her thing and so she wasn't really surprised that she could solve that. She looked at Syaoran-san and gave him a thumbs-up, signaling a good job or a well done, he helped too. Without him, they never would have gotten in this area in the first place. She looked at the chest wondering if she or Syaoran should open it, or if it was a trap chest.
"To think you said that you weren't going to be much help. "
She looked up when he said this, noticing that he was signaling for her to open the chest. She went towards it, saying "That wasn't that much, it was pretty easy, wasn't it? And are you sure you want me to open it?" She then reached the chest, fingering over the chest, it had an extravagant design, something that looked like it came from a sunken pirate ship or something. She then noticed that it opened with her careless touching.
She looked at Syaoran, saying sorry that he didn't even get a chance to answer her question. She didn't mean for it to open, it just did. Either way, she was very curious about what was inside, whether it be treasure, or some monster getting ready to jump her.
BlackRose then awaited patiently for whatever was coming.

Inside the treasure chest was the answer to the question egg. It was a strange idea but yet the game gave it as an item anyway. The egg then disappeared as now it was in Blackrose's item in the section of Key Items. Still because of that it can only stay in this area and this area only. Well that is unless she was to hack it but that would be heard because the data was very protected.
Syaoran looking at the egg he had a dumbfounded look on his face in the real world. So their item was an egg? An egg! What are they suppose to do hatch it like a chicken? What kind of rip off is this? Why was it an egg he thought it would had been a cool sword or some kind of potion but an egg? Was the creator of this thing toying with them?
Shrugging the thought off he looked at the dungeons wondering which one to go next. There were nine of them left and he had already picked one so why not let his partner pick this one. Who knows maybe the item would be better.

As the chest opened, BlackRose was very excited, only to find an egg. Was this supposed to be some type of cruel joke? Although it was very easy, all they get is an egg? Ha ha, very funny, now where was the real prize? She put on a disappointed/ angry face and in real life, was cursing at the dragon. She didn't like to be ripped off, and even if it wasn't real, this was no exception. She then realized that the egg had went into her key items section. She didn't want it, why was it so important anyway?
Looking around, she noticed that there was more areas. Nine left to be exact. She hoped that there would be better items than just eggs in the other areas. She pointed toward the one that she wanted to go to, it was the southeast one, and she started walking towards there. There was another statue. This was no different than that of the last, being a dragon again. She sighed, praying that it would be something other than a dumb egg.
Then, the dragon told its riddle, in a loud, booming voice.
It is night. There is a man and a woman in their home. The man is watching TV and the woman is reading. All of a sudden, there is a blackout for the rest of the night. The man decides to go to bed, but the woman continues to read, without a flashlight and she still stays in her home. How does she continue to read if she has no light?
BlackRose was confused on this question. If the lights are out, then how would the woman read, cat vision? Well, even so, it really wasn't her turn to answer the riddle anyway, so her body shifted towards Syaoran, looking at his expression to see if he could figure it out.
"Got any ideas? I'm stumped."

It is night. There is a man and a woman in their home. The man is watching TV and the woman is reading. All of a sudden, there is a blackout for the rest of the night. The man decides to go to bed, but the woman continues to read, without a flashlight and she still stays in her home. How does she continue to read if she has no light?[/i]
So it was night and the woman was reading in the night with a black out huh? Well then the question is very uninformative. It never told them how long was the blackout nor did it tell them what time of month it was. After all it could be that she saw it once the electricity got back on or she simply read it using the light from the moon. Still he thought about what else she could use because he also reads in the night but usually with a light.
Wait what if she didn't need any light then? The only way she could read now was if she used her sense of touch because that was the only way she could have read. After all if you are blind then you're whole life is in darkness because you can never see the light so why use something that you can never see right? Sure at first it seem strange but still now it was all clear.now that if you really think about it.
"Got any ideas? I'm stumped."
The blade brandier nodded with a smile on his face. Good now it was his turn to answer the riddle for this party and who knows maybe this time it won't be an egg. Hopefully it won't anyway because he hates the idea of a stupid treasure because why put something that stupid in?
" The answer is that she was blind so she read through the feeling of touch. " he said with a lot of confidence in this voice. It didn't sound thingyy but it sounds more like he knew that it has to be the answer. It was his usual voice when it came to talking about riddles because they are fun to him.

" The answer is that she was blind so she read through the feeling of touch. "
The edge punisher noticed that he spoke with much confidence in his voice, like he really knew what he was doing. She wondered then what he would be like if he spoke in that voice and was proven wrong. That had happened to her many times in class, and hence, she always hid for the rest of the school day. She was never one to be making fun of people, more of the one to be made fun at in elementary. In middle school, she came to be much more popular, this might have been because she was a little more outgoing and actually spoke to people.
The dinging noise. She couldn't stand the dinging noise.
It signified that Syaoran-san was correct but it was so loud; maybe last time, she was so caught up in glory that she had answered the question that she didn't even seem to notice the loud chime. That could have been highly possible, as she was overly excited for actually being worth something more than someone who would just hold you back.
BlackRose was very surprised that he was the one that had answered it. She wasn't being mean or anything, but she just didn't expect it. He couldn't answer the first one, so how could he answer the second one with ease? She pondered on this for a moment, letting the treasure chest appear. She had decided that she was just simply better at number problems while he was better at things that had to do with common sense, after all, she had no logic in the first place, how would you expect her to have any in the game?
When the treasure chest appeared, she knew that it was Syaoran-san's turn to get the prize, this was for two reasons. One, she got the first one, and two, he answered the riddle. She didn't even have the slightest clue what the answer was. Well, anyway, it seemed like they were going to get through this area easily. She enjoyed this area, it was peaceful and tranquil, yet, it still let you do something, even though it was not in the terms of fighting.
Ready to jump at him and ask what the prize was, the young girl put an eager look on her face, typing in the command "/smile". She had learned these commands very quickly, memorizing them to heart. She was always like that, a person who expressed the way they felt through facial expressions rather than harsh words and such.
Her avatar still smiling, she patiently waited.

A chime was heard as it echoed within the temple. It was loud to the point where his hands in real life was holding FMD as it felt like it would fall off. It didn't though as it was all in his head but still he held onto it tightly even though his logical self knew that it wouldn't fall. It was strange though because his avatar was simply staring there at the walls.
Soon when the noise stopped a chest can be seen on his screen. Slowly he took out his sword making sure that it wasn't one of those monster chest. Hitting the chest lightly it opened up with another chime can be heard but this one wasn't so loud. A screen popped up on his and whoever that was in his party's screen. On it the words were ' You have obtained a book. '.
Slowly he opened it up curiously and noticed that it was in brail. He didn't understand the character much so he closed the book. Looks like this wasn't a weapon for a Shadow Warlock at all, this was simply the book that the woman was reading.
Closing the book the item started to evaporate with character strings as it went into his key items. Not bothering to check if it was still there he looked at her and smiled happy that he was able to also help the two out. His sword then vanished to only reappear on his back. Normal character won't be able to do this but because he was a hacker he can. It wasn't much though because it was more of a character appearance thing than the game itself.
His coco brown eyes scanned the rest of the eight dungeons that they have left. Well then time to get ready to answer more riddles. Wondering which one to pick he grabbed a twig and threw it up into the sky. The barrier up there than pushed it down because there weren't anymore data for it to go up any higher. As it landed it pointed at the dungeon that was to their upper right.
" Well looks like that would be where we're going to answer the next riddle. " the blade brandier said as he started to walk towards it with his back turned against her.

BlackRose awaited to see what was in the chest. She noticed that her fellow party member had received a book. She then walked up to him from behind, glancing over his shoulder so she could see what the book was about. It seemed to be in braille, the system of writing for the blind, and she had no idea how to read it. She walked away, knowing that the book was not very important to her if she couldn't even read it. Even so, she wanted to know the contents of the book, if only it could be translated into traditional characters.
The book was gone. It seemed like it was never there in the first place, but the young girl knew that it had just gone into her party member's key items section. That was the greatthing about this game, you didn't have to lug all your items around like in the real world, there was just a menu you could go to, and it could be your whole house, all seemingly stored in the pocket of your character. Anything could fit, the world itself is totally different from the dreadful reality.
But with good points, comes bad points. Along with disappearing books and tricks, comes bad judgment. Here, you could be judged by anything, mostly by level. You could be made fun of just by getting defeated or by doing something almost impossible to do in "The World", tripping and such. BlackRose knew that her dream would come to an end, someday, she would be over all of this and move along with her life, but for now, she wanted to enjoy it.
Then, the edge punisher saw a stick go up in the air. She followed it with her eyes. Up, only to hit the force field, because of course, they wouldn't program something that high for no reason. Then it came back down. Why did the stick go up in the air in the first place? She didn't honestly know, but came to see and realize that Syaoran threw it because he seemed to follow it too. It landed pointing in a direction, and when it landed, Syaoran spoke.
" Well looks like that would be where we're going to answer the next riddle. "
BlackRose nodded to his statement, realizing that this was a very just way to pick. He started to walk away, as he said the statement with his back turned to her. She ran to catch up to him. The path that they took was the upper right one, furthest away from their current location, but she just shrugged and followed.
She was sick. Sick of the same layout. She had only seen it twice and already, she never wanted to see it again. Maybe it was the thought of seeing it many more times after this? Maybe she just didn't like the place? Well, for what reason whatsoever, she did not want to ever see this place again after today.

Syaoran entered the room the same time she did. It was the same room but for some reason he felt strange. Sure it looked exactly the same but there was no dragon at all. Looking left and right he couldn't see anything at all that had a hint of where the dragon might be. Something was missing, not just the dragon but when you look down there was no shadow. Was this and incomplete dungeon? Did the creator not finish it because many people rather fight than do riddles?
Then his eye caught something, it wasn't there at first because of the pillars but now he noticed a mirror. The area had the word mirror to so was this it? He walked over to the mirror for a bit trying to figure out what was going on. He didn't noticed it though, the dragon was in the middle of the dungeon meanwhile there were no pillars or mirror at all.
As he looked into the reflection he noticed that it wasn't his usual character at all. It wasn't his character but some kind of strange monster. The color was mainly yellow and green which was strange because he didn't design this at all. What was going on? He needs to log out right now but yet part of him wanted to learn more about this.
His sword came to him and he started trying to hit against the reflection but nothing happened other than the sword rebounding against the mirror. This didn't make sense at all but it might be because the mirror was not a normal mirror. Maybe it was an object that you can't interact at all so maybe this wasn't a boss or a boss that you can't fight yet.
The real dungeon was just like any but the blade braindier was gone. In front of Blackrose was a dragon that was made out of sapphire. As usual it gave out a riddle. Suddenly though under the dragon was a clock, the dragon was the hour hand which pointed at six.
' In a world where the days go backward when does twilight come? ' the female voice asked. It was strange to many people most likely because the rest of the time it was a male and now to suddenly be a female for no reason at all. It simply didn't make sense.
Still the dragon not caring simply sat on the ground on the statue. The time started to rotate to where it was now pointing at midnight.

Walking into the room, the girl noticed that it was like any other. Except, this time, there was a sapphire dragon. It would usually be stone if she remembered correctly. Then again, she couldn't remember anything. She walked up to the dragon, examining it. Same as the other, then she noticed Syaoran-san was gone. Where did he go? Was he lost or did he decide to go in another room? She looked around yelling out "Syaoran-san! Syaoran-san! Where are you? This isn't funny you know?! Get out here right now!" She was then interrupted by the dragon.
"In a world where the days go backward when does twilight come?"
She looked up at the dragon, thinking. Could it be possible that it was not Syaoran-san's fault that he is gone, like maybe the dragon took him away and the pressure was all on her? Great, she just put pressure on herself. She hated doing that. It was just like forgetting, one of the things that she just did unintentionally. She looked at the clock that appeared. Six, then midnight. What would that mean...
It was too hard. The riddle. She could never save Syaoran-san... it was too hard.
The edge punisher gave it all that she could to try and figure out the riddle. She thought that maybe, you could just find the middle of the two numbers, 6 and 12. But on a clock It could go two ways. One, it could be 9 or two, it could be 3. She made a guess on nine first, it being closer to her favorite number 11.
"If the twilight is in a backwards day, then it is at 3 o'clock?..." BlackRose said it with not much confidence in her voice, not even sure if her answer was close to right. Oh, well, it was worth a shot right? She started to pray to herself, in high hopes that it was right, in her heart knowing it wasn't.

Suddenly on both screen two sapphire dragons appeared and wrapped around the two freezing them for a bit making them loose some hp. It was the punishment for answering a question incorrectly. As the dragon came up to Syaoran he tried to slash it but it instead wrap itself. What was going on? Where did the dragon come from? As the dragon released him he chased after it but then it went to one of the pillars. Looking at the bottom of the screen he can see that he had lost twenty who hp. What? When did that happen? Was it because of the dragon? Then the mirror vanished only to be replaced by a clock that was backward. Hmmm why was the clock backward? He didn't understand it at all as there was no voice. Just a clock It was a strange one though because the hour hand was pointing at the three but because it was at three he noticed that it had to do with time. What did it mean though, the only clue was a moon and a sun being painted on the clock. Slowly the boy closed his eye and a strange green glow can be seen around his character but he didn't see it at all. His hand moved onto the clock slowly sliding it down. A sun and a moon that usually means that it was the time of the twilight. Twilight mean that the day was coming to it's end so when was night? Night was at seven so that mean that twilight would be six. That must be the answer! Slowly he turned the hour hand to six hoping that it would get him out of this place.

When the dragons wrapped around her, BlackRose immediately knew that she was wrong. She hoped that she was only the one to get hurt and not Syaoran-san though. He shouldn't have had to pay for her dumb mistake. She looked at her HP bar. 130, twenty lower than that of before. She should have seen this coming, but guess she didn't. She took another shot at trying to figure the riddle out. Looking at the clock more closely, she noticed that it was moving. It moved until it reached 6 o'clock. Could it be that Syaoran-san was doing the same riddle as she?
BlackRose now did not want to say anything, afraid of messing it up anymore than she already did. She had gotten herself and possibly Syaoran-san hurt, and she wasn't planning on having that happening again. She liked staying alive and could not let BlackRose die. It would be like the end of the world to her. Waiting for the chimes, she started to wonder.
If Syaoran-san is doing the same puzzle, then where is he? Can he hear me? "Syaoran-san! Can you hear me?! If you can, say something!" She knew that this was highly unlikely, but gave it a try anyway. She didn't want to lose someone on the first day she knew him. That would be just weird. She wanted to play with the clock, but avoided the temptation.
To occupy herself, she got out her sword and started hitting air, maybe this would train her speed, because she was considerably slow and she liked being quick. The only problem was that she also liked having power. Her heart told her to go with the power on her first character, Sakura, and the rest is her history.

Her voice didn't reach Syaoran. Instead two dragons came and started to squish the two once again. Was he wrong again? Why? That wouldn't have made sense at all if he was to be wrong again. With a sigh he leaned on his sword for a bit trying to look at the clock slowly. The sun was on left which in this case is west in a globe. The sun comes from the east so that meant that time went backward so the answer wasn't six, it was twelve. Using his sword to push the hand it made it to 12. Now sure that it was the answer a chime can be heard but only for him as he have solved his part of the puzzle. Nothing happened though other than him getting a necklace with a moon on it. Was a strange necklace, was he suppose to wear it? Putting it as an accessory even though it couldn't do anything the necklace appeared. With a grin on his face he waited for Blackrose to solve her puzzle. Good thing that he solved his becuasethey had just gain another 10 exp and 20 gp. The usual amount that they gain which was a great thing because they can regain their hp and more through leveling. Quietly he waited there for a moment leaning on the wall. He tried to flash mail but they wouldn't let him in the area which was strange. Still he didn't do anything but pray that Blackrose would figure it out. "Blackrose-san hurry, onegai. "Another chime was heard as the blade brainder leveled up.
