&&. Sorry for the short post, Vy. I can't really think properly (writer's block). I can't destroy this 'thing' inside me... I... I wonder why. dimly mused the red-capped male as he took a seat on the fountain edge, watching the realistic clouds float away peacefully; the voice within his head was heard to be protesting in want of being 'let out' to fight. Fine, fine, I'll switch over the eye-patch once I help at least one more person~! Mm' kay? Despite his helpful efforts, all he was able to do was to aid people around town. Kite's one, clear blue eye scaled around the area ever-so curiously to find a person in desperate need of help.[/ul]

Three rings appeared revealing Sora right next to the chaos gate. His right arm was high up in the sky as a silly grin was on his face. " Tada! " he yelled out happily. Some of the passing players were starring at him as if he was an idiot so he couldn't help but laugh because that was how he felt about them. Especially with new players who don't even know one thing about the game at all. Still it was a good thing that way though since that way at least he can kill those players and simply laugh as they die. Actually he had just returned from a trip when it came to that.
With a sigh from his laughter he walked through the doors to look at the outside. There were the same usual amount of players today as usual. Most of them are most likely in parties since they know the person in real life. It was quite common for new people to do that. Such strange people, don't they know that you can fall into a coma in this game? Like how his father is for some reason. Quickly he shook his head to get it out of his mind because right now he shouldn't wonder about that, no he should find out why instead.
He closed his eyes for a bit and then opened them to take on great leap to get down the stairs. As he landed he darted toward the fountain, one of his favorite places in this game because it can be so calming in the night. As he got up there though he noticed a character that was mainly bright red. Still that wasn't what caught his eye, it was the strange character marks on his clothings. They were out of the game and even more was this guy, Kite? The legendary leader of the .Hackers or was it someone who simply pretended to be him? No this was the real one alright, no one can hack to create a character exactly like him. Does he have the bracelet, wait how can he know, it was suppose to be invisible until used.
With a sigh he walked up to him his eye still betraying his admirations so he went to the edge of the fountain and looked up at the sky for a bit trying to figure all this out. Was this the real Kite? Wasn't the real Kite suppose to have quit the game already though? Why would he play it again? Also if he was here than was Blackrose and the rest of the .Hackers here too?

-- that dark counter-part that wanted everything his way, and only his way. It was only natural for this dark alias' craving to be powered out at the sight of enemies; yes, it was hard to keep control of the body that was being shared by two splitted minds. The red-clothed boy's attention did not last too long on his reflection from the water as the bubbling eyes were pulled away from his back. Curiosity got the best of him, and he glanced over his shoulders to gape around until his eyes landed on a boy that was next to him on the edge of the fountain. Was that the person who was staring at him recently just a few seconds ago? Anywho, now that Kite had some time to spare, it wouldn't hurt to chat. "Hey," grinned the teal hair-colored male, blinking at his peer with a childish, friendly extent. He didn't want to seem too assertive, but at the same time, he didn't want to just say a simple 'hey' all at a boring moment ,"- nice to meet'cha!" That didn't come out right - he wanted to start a conversation at most; yet, with how things were going - it was just a simple greeting go-getter. His eyes lifted up to the artificial sky that spreaded over the vast virtual world. It was amazing how everything perceived to be realistic at some point."It's kind of cool, huh?" questioned Kite, he didn't mean the sky - but rather, everything ,"-... everything." Yes, everything. Everything that ranged from being able to be someone you want to be, being able to expand in friends -- that was everything. Anything that dealt with the huge amount of players. As a player-killer killer, Kite took down PKs to stop them from threatening the innocent from enjoying their play.[/ul]

"- nice to meet'cha!"
Sora simply stared blankly at those words. He really expected a hero to be different from this but then again maybe he changed over the years. No one really knows since years can really change you, time can change you actually. Still he didn't expected for him to change that much, he was thinking of more someone who sounded sure of himself, confidence pretty much. Even more though he expected the person to be with Blackrose or at least fighting some data bug or something right now but he wasn't doing anything like that. He was just helping new players around and relaxing himself. Is this guy really the hero?
"-... everything."
Everything? Cool? What does he mean? He already knows about the graphics and such so why is he saying this. Somehow he had a feeling that this guy was simply a wanna be Kite. He hated those people even more than new players themselves. Always running around tough, with a sigh he closed his eyes for a bit. He needed to find out if this guy was the real one or not since he had everything except for the personality and maybe the bracelet, he wasn't so sure on the last one.
" I guess so. " he said nonchalantly. He noticed that he was starting to act like himself which was a rare thing for him to do so he quickly shook his head and try to act like ' Sora '. " Yep this game is really cool! " he said grinning happily as he quickly nodded. Yep, now that was more like the pk that his dad once was. For some reason he always felt fun being able to be like him, simply pking and feeling empowered. No wonder why many people do it, after all it was what made the game more realistic. The world isn't perfect so neither can the game.
" This world is supper cool with heroes and everything. " he said almost sounding like a six year old. Sometime it can be embarrassing but at least no one knew him in real life in this game, that he knows of anywaym

" I guess so. " Yet, those three rounded words seemed so small when the boy quickly added in, in a more enthusiastic voice - " Yep this game is really cool! " That was somewhat expected, and Kite assumed that the boy enjoyed being cheerful and free. It made him think that he, himself, had many chances to be someone whom he wanted to grow into.
Except, there was the fact that Kite never actually worried about himself not being "true to himself" in reality - thus, he was already acting like himself, so why make a change? Though, it might be fun going around with a mature outlook, unlike his personality and the optimistic way he thought; " This world is supper cool with heroes and everything. " Kite couldn't help but release a giggle or two; he had yet to meet a so-called "hero" within the virtual game, but he appreciated the quick, immature response - it kind of enlightened him.
"F**k, 'hero'? Ha, it's f**king ridiculous to have such dumb, idiotic fantasies of such retarded things." Kite's bangs covered his left eye from a small tilt, the shadows giving the gold tint in his eyes an extra gleam ,"There are no heroes, kid. F**king heroes die eventually." Blinking, the gold tint vanished, Kite shook his head in frustration and covered his mouth, quite startled at the sudden rude words that spilled out of his mouth ,"Oh! I'm sorry! That wasn't suppose to come out~! Please forget about what I just said." he emphasized the 'I' part a little, and jumped off of the rim of the fountain and cheekily grinned, both hands on his hips."Ah! Anyways~! I'm Kite!" he pointed his forethumb to himself, making a small, kiddish gesture ,"What's yours?" the fourteen year-old commonly gained a some reaction when he introduced himself as 'Kite', so he rarely ever decided to stage until someone asked for his name; regardless, he desperately wanted a friend to hang around with.[/ul]

"There are no heroes, kid. F**king heroes die eventually."
It was strange to hear those words so he was most likely not Kite. At least it doesn't seem like the one that you would expect form all of the stories of old timers mumbling about the second network crisis, Pluto's Kiss again. No one really knew what happened other than the so called '.Hackers' but they were no longer around so why was he staying here anyway? For some reason though he couldn't move at all. All he could do there was just talk, it felt really strange, it was as if he was paralyzed but he knew that he wasn't. This was a root town and right now there was no town invasion so there was simply no way.
"Oh! I'm sorry! That wasn't suppose to come out~! Please forget about what I just said."
Sora nodded a little puzzled at the change though. Was he sharing an account with someone? Did someone hack into the character? It was hard to tell because he didn't know the person in real life, or at least he doesn't think he does anyone. No one really knows if you have met a person in the real world and ' The World ' because everyone knew that it was rude to ask about a person's personal life. After all this was simply an illusion of the real world, a place where those who can't face reality run to. For people like him.
"What's yours?"
The twin blade didn't really hear what he asked after hearing the name. Kite? This was the real Kite? There was no way, not after how he talked anyway. They were so different but then again maybe this was just another wanna be. He hated those kind of people, playing heroes to get some fame or to simply trick others. He rather play the game in a different way, but since this wasn't a offline game so can play it in many more ways then just one. Some ways are fair while others are simply cheap and pathetic. His way though was in between.
Quickly he shrugged off the thought as he held a grin on his face. " Name's Sora! " he said happily.

The twin-blade's ears perked up at the returned reply and foolishly nodded, pleased to hear the conversation getting somewhere ,"So, what do you usually do around here~? ... I like helpin' players. You could say it's my hobby~!" As much as it sounded like a saint's work, that was what Kite did while his darker half did the rougher half of it; then, his voice hissed into a complete opposite comment ,"F**k 'helping'! Seeing the pain on the many turds' faces is the f**king thrill!" Dang, 'he' came out again out of the blue.Hm, I think I should be careful, just incase he decides to come out, Kite cautiously mused as he dug into his pockets and pulled out a black eye-patch with golden wave-markings from his inventory, slapping it around his right eye securely. That felt most reassuring; it was the only thing that could hold his counter-part back if there was no other way around it. Of course, this method may be quite questionable to other players at why he wore an eye-patch. Ha, honestly, Kite couldn't quite explain it either."Well, umm... yeah! That's basically it - a welcoming committee for me~." squirmed the light-blue haired boy, patting his eye-patch gently to make sure his other half wouldn't be so brash again. Those random remarks weren't common, and Kite was somewhat startled. He didn't expect his alias to be in the crack of wake. Just as long as there were no murderious intention, it wasn't serious for now..."Say, what's your member address? We could exchange 'em!" Kite pleasantly offered, a grin widening on his face.[/ul]

"So, what do you usually do around here~? ... I like helpin' players. You could say it's my hobby~!"
Sora simply figured that it would be something like that. A hero helping out others. Trying to maintain the peace in this world. He hated it. He didn't want peace, he wanted to be able to face his fears here and players who try to keep peace won't help him do that. It won't make him stronger or anything like that at all. It would just make him weaker because there is nothing to face, nothing to learn. He'll just be like those idiots in his class who trusts people so easily and can't even skip a class for their life.
"F**k 'helping'! Seeing the pain on the many turds' faces is the f**king thrill!"
He looked at the so called 'hero' once again. There was no way this could all be one person. Even more was that their conversation were recorded and the image of the legendary .hacker leader might just vanish like those two knights, he had forgotten what they were called already. Was it really that easy to be forgotten? Apparently it was but he never knew that until he actually thought about it which was today. To think, meeting one person can change somebody so much. Did his father ever get an experience like one such as this? Who knows, maybe he did maybe he didn't they never really talked about this game much.
"Well, umm... yeah! That's basically it - a welcoming committee for me~."
The boy nodded acknowledging that. He might as well be one of those moderators then. Oh well looks like that was his way on how to play the game. There were infinite ways and pretty much everyone knows how they play, even he knows. To find out what cause the amnesia and why was his father in a coma. Did something happen to him? It was very hard to tell because his mom barely knew anything about it either. He was going to tell him why he played but the words won't come out so he stayed quite. Beside they barely met so why should he tell hi something that deep anyway?
"Say, what's your member address? We could exchange 'em!"
" Okay. " he said handing over his member address. It was pretty easy because in this game it is a infinite, key item even though you can't use it in battle or anything, you can always give it to others so that they could contact you when they need to. His number though was quite strange as he chose it himself 666.667.669

"Oh, hey! I'm going to another field soon; do you want to join as a party? It'll be fun~!" The twin-blade slightly fidgeted when he heard his counter-part say the four-letter word within thought. Yup, 'he' was rejoicing to fight at last. It was rather unfortunate that Kite couldn't even hurt a virtual monster - he easily felt guilty. That was just how he was. He didn't actually have a goal to pursue in the game, so he didn't really have compassion in what he did when he fought. Although, there was one thing that Kite just had to find out. The series of comas that have been happening since the game was released. He could just imagine the look of terror on the parents' faces when they see their beloved fall into deep slumber.
Perhaps, that was his goal he had to reach."Y' know what...," thoughtfully murmured the player ,"... I think I just found out why I wanted to play this game." he began as he took a swift turn to the side, his hands placed behind his back in irony; his palms felt empty - Kite wanted to hold his twin daggers in his grasp to fulfill that hollow feeling ,"I want to help people wake up from their coma." The words he spoke were somewhat quiet so none of the other players could hear, he had forgotten about 'private chat'. All at the same time, Kite felt it was his fault that many were at risk. His parents worked for the company, so... that made him feel responsible for everything."Let's see," Kite mumbled, glancing upward at the sky in thought ,"... where should we go?" [/ul]

"Oh, hey! I'm going to another field soon; do you want to join as a party? It'll be fun~!"
Sora stared at Kite and nodded. " Sure why not! " he said clapping his hands happily in a go-lucky way. It was something he would never do in real life, no matter how much he would earn from it as it was a disgrace to him. He would actually die rather than actually performing the action. Good thing it was his character instead though. Hmmm, being in the same party does let you see whatever hidden item the person has so maybe he might be able to see the bracelet. It was a rare item that was considered hacked but some people think that it is the ' Key of the Twilight '.
"I want to help people wake up from their coma."
His character stood there in silence as if it had no soul. It happens many times when the player doesn't do anything at all. One of the faults that made this game ' unrealistic '. In real like though he dropped the controller Wake people up from their coma? Does he think that it was actually that easy? He has been trying to find out how to wake his father up for a couple months now, it was one of the reasons why he gets ' B-'s on his tests sometimes. His mom had been yelling at him for that and is trying to look for where he hides his laptop so that she can throw it away. Ever since his father fell into deep slumber the family was starting to fall apart. Right now he just see his mother as a strange woman. Rarely do they ever talk now and he is easily angered by her.
Soon he got out of the blank stage and quickly picked up the controller. He needed to get back into his character so that Kite won't suspect anything of him hopefully. Good thing that the FMD was never off so he can still hear and see what was going on. It wasn't that hard to find the controller as it was right next to his legs. As he picked up on it, his hands grasped on it as tight as it can as he didn't want it to drop once again.
"... where should we go?"
After thinking for a while, he came up with something. They should go to one of his favorite training places of the game.
" Crying Ruined Phantom " he said giving out his opinion with a smile on his face. It was a good thing that the players can't see each other's real self in the game because right now the character behind Sora looked anything but happy.

Kite noted at the moment of blankness from the boy's characters; even if this was just a game, it was easy to tell what may be happening by the character's gestures - all created by the person who pulls the string, the user. Though he was curious, he had no right to ask things that are personal. After all, this was just a game, right? All for... fun..? Sure, it may be for 'fun' and interactive, but it had its serious side, too."Well, that is...," Kite chose his words carefully and scratched the side of his neck, blinking ,"... maybe there is a way to prevent those kind of things from happening, y' know." Even if it caused him to go into coma, he would fall into it bravely if it helped some players - even if it was just one player he had helped, it would be alright. Kite had only a small doubt his parents would care, but he knew every parent of a child would care, perhaps even just a little." Crying Ruined Phantom " Kite grinned at the three keywords and agreed; he never input those words before - except, maybe the word 'Phantom'. He wasn't sure what type of fields his counter-part went, though - Kite never really paid attention to his alias' doing unless it involved other players ,"Okie dokie~!" he gave the official answer and sealed the deal before waiting till everything was all set.
Everyone had a reason into playing "The World", right? Many weren't as problematic nor as care-free. Kite understood the feelings of those who have a friend in a mental hospital thanks to the game. Unfortunately, this young lad was one of those mentally ill, and he was still considered one of them - maybe even worse, yet still have some control of urges.[/ul] //thread_finished//
